He who believes that all Marevas are the same lacks subtlety. There are similarities and big differences between a Montecristo No. 4, a Short Hoyo Corona by Monterrey and a Petit Corona by Bolivar. This size does not have the roughness of Montecristo nor the refinement of Hoyo de Monterrey. Being a Bolivar, it is a very personal and wonderfully balanced Habano, with no excesses. If you like this format, you will appreciate its unique quality.

This cigar isn't particularly 'Cohiban', nor is it typically Cuban. The construction is outstanding, however the wrapper is not the usual thrice-fermented Cohiba style, but rather the '2nd generation' of the 2 year-old dark reddish-brown special edition wrappers. This cigar burns very evenly, a testament to its superior construction. It is medium in body, not strong - with much spice and pepper tones, and a touch of leather and chocolate notes. Further on it became slightly acidic on the lips, and showed other signs of youth - so it will improve with ageing. In six months to 2 years, this cigar may well become a highly unique smoke with unusual brand characteristics, and prized for its rarity considering the limited availability.

A great smoke when you dont have a lot of time. Medium bodied, a sweet flavor with a little spice. Very smooth from start to finish. One of the best petits around.

This Mareva from Montecristo is the world's most-sold Habano. It is the epicenter of all medium-size Habanos, and all other Marevas, since all of them generally use it as a point of reference. Strong and serious, it is without any doubt a big Habano in a small body.

The Laguito No. 3 by Cohiba is the one closest to the Exquisitos, althougn it has a lesser gauge and it is shorter. It is the smallest of the Cohiba brand and is one of the most delicious and easy-to-find small Panetelas.

The prince of its format Not in vain, before the Cohiba brand was marketed, this was the emblematic Habano which the Goverment of Republic of Cuba used as an official state present for its guests. Another version of the same, the Trinidad, now continues to fulfill that assignment.
